Led by frosh guard Rod Foster and Kiki Vandeweghe, coach Larry Brown's Bruins will make it all the way to the Finals before falling to Louisville. |
3/5/1989 In an exciting Big Ten contest, Indiana's 15-game home winnig streak is on the line after squandering a 13-pt lead in the final 12 mins to trail Illinois, 67-65. With 2 seconds left, the Hoosiers' Jay Edwards ties the game at 67-67 with a 12-foot fadeaway. It appears that the game will go into overtime, but Nick Anderson swishes a 35-footer as hte buzzer sounds and Illinois prevails, 70-67. |
